Rebekah Leslie-Hurd

Rebekah Leslie-Hurd is a highly experienced engineer currently serving as Senior Principal Engineer at Tenstorrent since August 2025. Previously, Rebekah held the position of Head of Software at Rain from April 2023 to June 2025 and was Director of Compiler Software Engineering at Cerebras Systems from December 2020 to March 2023. Rebekah worked as Managing Principal Engineer and Software Engineer at Groq between September 2017 and November 2020, and served as a Research Scientist at Intel Corporation from July 2011 to September 2017. Rebekah began academic studies at Portland State University, earning a PhD in Computer Science from 2003 to 2011, and previously obtained a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Oklahoma from 1999 to 2003. Rebekah has also completed various internships, including work on high-assurance software development methodologies in Haskell at Galois, Inc. and formalizing operating system interface properties at Intel.
