Afterward, Dan attended Dartmouth College from 1996 to 2000, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Building upon their undergraduate studies, they went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Business from Xavier University - Williams College of Business from 2000 to 2002.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Dan has also obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. In 2008, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Continuing their professional development, they achieved the Professional Scrum Master (PSM) 1 certification from Scrum.org in 2018. Most recently, in 2021, Dan received the Mailchimp Foundations certification from Mailchimp, and in 2022, they obtained the Google Cloud Sales Credential from Google.
