Dan Rye is the Co-Founder at Tensure Consulting. Dan has over 8 years of experience in various software engineering positions.
Dan started their career as a software engineer at Duke Energy Corporation. There, they developed software for real-time commodities trading portfolio management. This was also their introduction to writing web-based applications, which was still somewhat novel for the financial industry in 2010.
After Duke Energy, Dan worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Quest Diagnostics Healthcare IT Solutions (formerly MedPlus). There they worked on Java back to front, with a focus on the front end GWT (Google Web Toolkit), and back end Hibernate & EJB Delegates. Dan was part of a Scrum team environment and practiced Test-driven Development.
Most recently, before co-founding Tensure Consulting, Dan was the Engineering Manager / Enterprise Architect at Crossroads Church (Cincinnati, OH). Dan led 7 scrum teams (35+ total team size) for a nonprofit serving 50,000+ community members weekly.
Dan Rye received a BS in Computer Science and Math from Ohio University and a Business degree from Regent's University London.
