Alina K.

Partner, Chief Data Scientist at TenViz

Alina K. has extensive work experience in the field of data science and research. Alina started their career at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich & Max Planck Institute for Quantum Optics as an Invited Researcher in July 2016. Alina then joined the Institute of Physics of NASU, Department of Coherent and Quantum Optics, where they worked as an Engineer from March 2013 to October 2017. During this time, they also served as a Junior Research Fellow, focusing on their Ph. D. research in the study of photochemical and optical properties of photosensitive chemical compounds.

In October 2017, Alina K. joined TenViz as a Mathematician/Financial Data Scientist and held this role until February 2020. Alina then transitioned to the position of Partner and Chief Data Scientist at the same company in February 2020. Alina K.'s work experience showcases their expertise in both data science and research, with a particular focus on optics, quantum physics, and financial data analysis.

Alina K. pursued their education in a variety of fields. Alina started their academic journey in 2008 by obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Ukraine. Alina continued their studies at the same university and completed a Master's degree in Physics between 2012 and 2014. Simultaneously, from 2012 to 2014, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Information Security in Computer Systems and Networks from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute'.

In 2014, Alina enrolled in the Institute of Physics of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the Department of Coherent and Quantum Optics, based in Kyiv, Ukraine. It is not specified whether they obtained a degree or the field of study during their time there.

Additionally, Alina has attained several certifications to expand their knowledge and skills. These certifications include "Applied AI with DeepLearning" from Coursera in December 2018, "Deep Learning Specialization" from Coursera in February 2018, "Sequence Models" from Coursera in February 2018, "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization, and Optimization" from Coursera in October 2017, "Structuring Machine Learning Projects" from Coursera in October 2017, "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" from Coursera in September 2017, "SQL and Relational Databases 101" from IBM Cognitive Class in September 2017, "Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach" from Coursera in August 2017, "Machine Learning" from Coursera in May 2017, "DAT203.1x: Data Science Essentials" from edX in March 2017, "DS101X: Statistical Thinking for Data Science and Analytics" from edX in February 2017, "DAT101x: Data Science Orientation" from edX in January 2017, "DAT206x: Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Excel" from edX in January 2017, "DAT208x: Introduction to Python for Data Science" from edX in December 2016, "DAT210x: Programming with Python for Data Science" from edX in December 2016, "Writing in the Sciences" from Stanford University in November 2015.
