Benson Fong

Mr. Fong joined Teon Therapeutics in March 2021 as VP of Finance. He is responsible for the financial and accounting operations. He has over 30 years of experience in financial, business development and product launch support activities in the life science industry. He has served as interim CFO at E-Scape Bio, ReCode Therapeutics and GABAeron. Mr. Fong’s prior experience includes CEO of Lapis Therapeutics and SVP Corporate Development at CoTherix, where he in-licensed Ventavis® which was later approved by the FDA and successfully launched. Mr. Fong was also the Division controller for the Express Banking Division at Wells Fargo Bank and a tax accountant at Arthur Young & Co. He received his BS in Biology from the University of Oregon.
