Brian Beedenbender

Brian Beedenbender has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Brian began their career in 2004 as a County Executive Assistant in the Suffolk County Executive's Office, where they coordinated legislative resolutions and lobbied the County Legislature. Brian then served as a County Legislator from 2008 to 2009, representing a large number of constituents and holding key positions in committees.

In 2010, Beedenbender joined the Town of Brookhaven, initially as Chief of Staff, overseeing personnel matters, budget management, and departmental projects. Brian later ran as a candidate for Brookhaven Town Supervisor. After leaving the town, Beedenbender joined the US Congress as a District Director for Congressman Tim Bishop in 2012. In this role, they managed a team and coordinated constituent services, community outreach events, and media inquiries.

In 2013, Beedenbender transitioned to the education sector, joining Teq as a Senior Director of Sales. Brian led a team of inside sales representatives focusing on the K-12 market, promoting products such as interactive whiteboards, software, professional development, and STEM products. Brian then moved up to the role of Vice President of Inside Sales, where they hired, trained, and mentored a field sales team while monitoring their performance and ensuring best sales practices.

Currently, Beedenbender is the Vice President of Sales at Teq, where they oversee the sales team, be the lead for partnerships, and contribute to corporate strategy and initiatives. Brian'srole involves selling professional services to schools across the United States, primarily in the Northeast region.

Brian Beedenbender attended James Madison University from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Delaware from 2002 to 2004, earning a Master of Arts degree in Political Science.
