Character Animator at Tequila Works

Alberto Munoz has a diverse work experience in the fields of animation, video editing, and project management. Alberto started their career at Iberoamerica TV as the host of the film section and led the production, redaction, and editing team. Alberto then worked at Immersive Interactive as a modeler and texture artist for a videogame. Alberto later joined Gestiona Radio as a video editor, where they recorded and edited graphics reports and produced corporative videos. Alberto then worked at Oxford University Press as a digital editor, focusing on editing components of educational projects with web technology. Alberto also worked at Genomma Lab as a 3D animator and video editor, primarily creating animations for pharmaceutical products. Alberto joined Electronic Arts (EA) as a video editor and coordinator, creating localized versions of trailers and promotional videos for EA video games and managing projects. Alberto continued in a similar role at EA in 2017, working on the localization of trailers for games like "Fifa17," "Battlefield 1," and "Titanfall 2." Alberto then moved to Frontier Developments as a creature animator and later joined MercurySteam as an animator. Alberto is currently working at Tequila Works as a character animator.

Alberto Munoz has a diverse education history in the field of animation and cinematography. In 2018, they attended iAnimate for an advanced body mechanics and acting workshop in animation. The following year, in 2017, they completed a Master's degree in Advanced Character Animation at Lightbox Academy. Prior to that, in 2016, Alberto attended Animation Mentor, where they focused on cartoony animation for 3D animators. In 2015, they participated in the 3D & VFX Mentor Program at CG HEROES, specializing in character animation.

Alberto's academic journey also includes a Master's degree in 3D Animation from CICE, which they obtained from 2013 to 2014. Alberto pursued their earlier education at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid from 2009 to 2014, where they completed a dual Bachelor's degree in journalism - Film, Television and Media Studies with a focus on cinematography. Additionally, in 2013, they took an official course of Motion Graphics with Adobe After Effects at CICE. In 2012 and 2013, Alberto studied Cinematography and Film/Video Production at Charles University, focusing on communication audiovisual.
