Ricardo Puertas has a diverse and extensive work experience in character animation. Ricardo started their career as an Assistant at Animante Baleares in 2003 and then worked as a CGI Assistant at MAISCA - Universitat Illes Balears in 2005. In the same year, they joined Tragnarion Studios as a Junior Animator before returning to MAISCA - Universitat Illes Balears as a Character Animator and CGI Assistant in 2006. After that, they had a role as a Character Animator at Dygra Films from 2006 to 2007. Ricardo then worked at Ikonic Arts as a 3D Assistant and CGI Animator from 2007 to 2008. In 2008, they became a Freelance Character Animator at Crocodile Entertainment, where they worked on the game "Zack Zero."
In 2009, Puertas joined Balearic Island Government as a Character Animator and TD Animator. Ricardo Puertas has pursued a diverse and extensive education history. Starting in 2001, they attended the Arts and Crafts School (Escola Superior de Disseny) for their Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts and Design, with a major in Illustration. Ricardo studied there until 2004. In 2004, Ricardo enrolled in the Universitat de les Illes Balears to pursue further studies in animation, completing their Animator degree in 2005. The following year, in 2005, they attended ArsAnimacion for further training in animation. In 2012, Ricardo attended AnimSchool to enhance their skills as an animator. Ricardo'seducational journey includes a wide range of institutions and programs, reflecting their dedication to advancing their expertise in the field of animation.
