Thea Lortkipanidze

Thea Lortkipanidze is an accomplished banking professional with extensive leadership experience, currently serving as CEO of Terabank since May 2014. Previously, Lortkipanidze held key roles at TBC Bank from January 2007 to December 2013, including Deputy CEO and Chief Risk Officer, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing various departments and implementing risk management frameworks aligned with Basel II/III. Lortkipanidze has also contributed to the financial sector as CEO of TBC Leasing, President of the Georgian Leasing Association, and as a member of several supervisory boards. Educational qualifications include a diploma from the ABA Stonier National Graduate School of Banking, an MBA from the European School of Management, and a degree in Engineering-Economy from Tbilisi State University.
