Katie Cleary

Katie Cleary has a diverse and extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Katie started their career at PolySync as a Software Engineer in 2016, where they focused on code correctness, implemented a testing framework, and worked on automation using Ansible. In 2018, they joined Transparent Financial Systems as a Senior Software Engineer, specializing in Rust. Katie played a crucial role in helping their team adapt to the new language and utilized technologies like Terraform and Docker to create a distributed systems test net. During their tenure, they also gained expertise in blockchain technology and governance models. Katie then moved on to Disney Streaming in 2021, where they served as a Software Engineer and domain expert in Rust. Katie employed their knowledge of software architecture and design principles to improve code testability and minimize regression issues. Currently, Katie is working at Terabase Energy as a Senior IoT Engineer, starting in 2023.

Katie Cleary's education history starts with their completion of an Associate's Degree in Computer Science from Suffolk County Community College, which they obtained between 2011 and 2013.
