Brendan Dysel has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Brendan began their career at Continental Tyres, where they worked as an Electrical Apprentice and then progressed to the role of an Electrical Technician. Brendan then moved on to Royal Opera House, where they served as an Engineering Team Supervisor, responsible for managing the onsite engineering team and overseeing planned maintenance activities.

Afterwards, Dysel joined Johnson Controls as a Technical Facilities Manager for the Morgan Stanley Data Centre at Heathrow. In this role, they supervised the onsite engineering team and implemented an asset register and a planned preventative maintenance system.

Later, Dysel joined Credit Suisse as a Data Centre Engineering Manager - Vice President. Brendan played a significant role in the design and fit-out of the Tier 4 Slough Data Centre, overseeing a 12MVA capacity with a 6MVA IT load.

Most recently, Dysel has been working at Teraco – A Digital Realty Company. Brendan has held various roles, including Head of Facilities at Teraco Data Environments, Head of Data Centre Systems, Head of Infrastructure Management, and currently serves as the Head of Technical Infrastructure. In these positions, Dysel has been responsible for managing engineering, operational, and client service level agreements (SLAs) for all Teraco Data Centres. Brendan has implemented systems supporting client SLAs, maintained asset registers, and established a planned preventative maintenance system.

Brendan Dysel attended Port Rex Technical High School from 1989 to 1993, where they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering. After completing high school, they pursued further education at Eastern Cape Technikon from 1995 to 1998, majoring in Electrical Engineering. No degree was specified for either educational institution.
