Sriram Somayajula

Sriram Somayajula, CISSP, is an experienced engineering leader at Teradata, serving as the Director of Software Engineering specializing in Cloud Security and High Availability since January 2004. In this role, Sriram manages and empowers engineering teams to enhance security architecture and continuously improve the Vantage Cloud platform. Previous positions at Teradata include Product Security Architect, where Sriram developed technical strategies for Federated SSO and data protection, and Sr. Staff Software Engineer, where Sriram led a migration project to modern DevOps practices. Earlier experiences include a Software Development Consultant role at Reuters America, where Sriram designed and developed data service processes, and a Software Engineer position at Satyam Computer Services Ltd. Sriram holds a master's degree in Computer Science from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and a degree in Computer Science and Management from Bharati Vidyapeeth.
