Boris Mandadzhiev

Boris Mandadzhiev is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in thermal mechanical engineering, primarily in the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as the Lead Thermal Mechanical Engineer at Teradyne since April 2022, Mandadzhiev conducts R&D activities and develops technologies for semiconductor testing equipment. Prior experience includes a role as Principal Mechanical Engineer at MKS Instruments, where Mandadzhiev managed emerging technologies and core sensor research projects, and as Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, leading high-revenue product introductions. Past positions also include roles at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a Graduate Research Assistant, a Mechanical Engineer at Applied Materials focusing on semiconductor manufacturing technology, and engineering positions at Hypertherm, Inc. and Hologic, Inc.
