Osman Mohamednur

Osman Mohamednur, P.Eng has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Engineering & Operations at TeraGo, a role they began in July 2022. Prior to this, they held various positions at TeraGo, including Senior Director of Network Business and Director of Planning and Engineering. Before joining TeraGo, Osman worked at Mobilicity as the Manager of RF & RAN Engineering from 2011 to 2014. Osman also gained experience at Xplornet Communications as a wireless network design and planning engineer from 2009 to 2010. Earlier in their career, they worked at Alcatel-Lucent as the Manager of Planning and Engineering and at MobiTel as the RF & Optimization Manager. Osman started their career at The University of British Columbia, where they worked in project management. Overall, Osman has a diverse background in network operations, engineering, and planning, making him a valuable asset in the telecommunications industry.

Osman Mohamednur, P.Eng has a Master's Degree in Engineering Management from the University of Ottawa, which they obtained from 2007 to 2009. Osman also holds a Certificate in Project Management from The University of British Columbia, which they earned in 2007. Prior to these experiences, Osman completed their BSc. & MSc. in Electrical Engineering-Telecom at the University of Khartoum. In terms of certifications, they have obtained the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Osman is also a registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng), accredited by both Professional Engineers Ontario and APEGBC. Additionally, they hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
