Michael Flynn

Michael Flynn has had a long and varied career in engineering and product management. In 2006, they began as a Senior Advisor for Research Services at McMaster University. Michael then moved to Flextronics in 2008, where they were a Technology Product Manager. In 2010, they took a role as Systems Architect, Component Technology for Flextronics - Imerj Design. In 2012, they joined Flex as a Manager of Systems Engineering and Design Manager. In 2016, they became a Product Lead at Pegmatis Inc, where they were responsible for developing consumer and commercial hardware and software products. In 2019, they moved to KATERRA as a Senior Product Manager, responsible for the development, design, sourcing, and manufacturing of smart home/intelligent building products. In 2020, they were an EVP of Operations at SunToWater Technologies, LLC. Finally, in 2021 they became a Product Management and Development at Amber Solutions Inc. and in 2023 they took on the role of Vice President of Engineering at Teralytic.

Michael Flynn holds a PhD from McMaster University in Engineering Physics and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) from Queen's University in Engineering Physics.
