Karol Żurek

Karol Żurek has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and engineering. Karol started their career as a Computer Service Engineer at Ericpol in 2013. Karol then worked as an Administrator IT at R-DATA from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, they joined Aptean as a Junior Systems Administrator, and later that year, they moved to CH2M as a Global IT Applications Administrator, where they worked until 2017. Karol then joined Codete as a Senior DevOps Engineer and later became a Tech Lead, working until 2019. From 2019 to 2020, Karol worked as a DevOps Engineer at YooniQ solutions. In 2020, they joined OpenX as a Site Reliability Engineer and worked there until 2022. Currently, they are employed at TeraSky, where they started as a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer and then transitioned to the role of Cloud Platform Consulting Architect in 2023.

Karol Żurek completed their Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from AGH University of Krakow in the years 2010-2014. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Teleinformation and Communication Technologies from Politechnika Krakowska im. Tadeusza Kościuszki, graduating in the years 2014-2016. In terms of additional certifications, Karol obtained their AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2017. Karol further enhanced their skills and expertise by acquiring several certifications in 2022 and 2023, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate and Professional certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS), as well as Consul Associate (002), Terraform Associate (002), and Vault Associate (002) certifications from HashiCorp.
