Jesse Kane

Project Engineer at TeraWatt Infrastructure

Jesse Kane has a diverse range of work experience, starting with an ongoing role as a Project Engineer at TeraWatt Infrastructure since 2023. Prior to this, Jesse worked at Black & Veatch, where they held several positions including Electrical Engineer 3 from 2021 to 2023, Electrical Engineer 2 from 2019 to 2021, and Electrical Engineer 1 from 2018 to 2019. Within these roles, Jesse worked on various projects related to distributed energy, microgrid planning and design, and medium to high voltage substations.

Before joining Black & Veatch, Jesse gained valuable experience through internships at Black & Veatch in 2017 and 2016, where they focused on substation design, equipment sizing calculations, and data center UPS system design. They also worked as a Reliability Engineer Co-Op at Celanese in 2016, where they designed maintenance programs for the electrical distribution system.

Jesse's work experience also includes a commercial construction internship at HITT Contracting Inc. from 2014 to 2016, where they performed project management, field superintendent tasks, and reviewed submittals, budgets, and construction milestones.

Jesse Kane attended Virginia Tech from 2013 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
