Kazuma Yamauchi

Kazuma Yamauchi has a wealth of experience in finance and strategy, having held various roles in a variety of companies since 2005. In 2005, they began their career as a Lobby Performer for the Shiki Theater Company. In 2009, they joined Goldman Sachs as an Analyst in the Special Situations Group. In 2010, they joined Advent International as an Analyst, where they conducted thorough analysis and corporate valuation of a target company and led the initial negotiation for the acquisition of a payment service company. In 2011, they joined MBK Partners as an Associate, where they were the youngest member in terms of professional career year. In 2012, they joined Apollo Global Management LLC as an Associate. In 2015, they joined Bai Xian Asia Institute as an Executive Committee Member, and also became Angel Investor, Co-founder & COO of KonMari Media Inc. In 2016, they founded their own company, KZM & Company, where they incubate and invests into early stage venture businesses. Finally, in 2019, they became Co-founder, finance & strategy lead of TeraWatt Technology Inc.

Kazuma Yamauchi received their Bachelor's degree in French Area Studies from The University of Tokyo in 2007, after studying there from 2002. Kazuma then went on to receive their Master's degree in European Studies from The University of Tokyo in 2009.
