Maurizio Leo is an accomplished founder, author, and software engineer with extensive experience in both culinary and tech industries. As the founder of The Perfect Loaf since 2013, Maurizio has created an award-winning platform for sourdough enthusiasts, culminating in a New York Times Bestseller cookbook, which received the 2023 James Beard Award and the 2023 IACP Cookbook Award. Additionally, Maurizio co-founded Terminal Eleven, a software company recognized for its mobile application SkyView, and has played a key role as a resident bread baker for Food52. Maurizio holds an MS in Computer Science from The University of New Mexico and a BS in Computer Science from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, alongside current investment involvement with ConvertKit.
