Sean Leather has worked in the software engineering industry for over 15 years. In 2021, they began working as a Database Engineer for TerminusDB. At Boeing, they designed, implemented, and tested a full C++ framework for logging network communications between flight simulators and servers, which was designed to be cross-platform and ran on VxWorks, Irix, and Windows.

Sean Leather's education history includes completing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science at Utrecht University in 2008, a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin from 2003 to 2006, a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Science at Washington University in St. Louis from 1998 to 2003, and a High School degree from The McCallie School from 1992 to 1998.
