Gabriele Basile

Gabriele Basile has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Gabriele is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Termo, a company focused on reducing CO2 emissions and promoting energy efficiency in residential buildings. Termo aims to offer high-value services and adopt sustainable technologies for energy conservation. Gabriele has been in this position since December 2020.

Prior to their role at Termo, Gabriele Basile worked as the CEO of Colcom Group from September 2014 to June 2020. During their tenure, they oversaw the acquisition of the company by a private equity fund and its subsequent sale to an industrial partner. Colcom Group operates in five countries, manufacturing and distributing glass hardware and architectural glass fixing systems.

Before Colcom Group, Gabriele Basile held various executive positions. Gabriele served as the Vice President and Managing Director of Berner Italia for a brief period in 2014. Gabriele also worked as a CEO and Private Equity (PE) Advisor for a freelancing role from October 2012 to February 2014.

Gabriele Basile has a proven track record in managing director-level positions. Gabriele served as the Managing Director of Doka Italia S.p.A. from November 2010 to October 2012. Prior to that, they were the CEO and Managing Director of Algeco Scotsman Group, a role they held from May 2005 to November 2010.

In the early years of their career, Gabriele Basile worked as a Manager at A&G Management Consulting S.r.l. from May 2001 to April 2005. Gabriele also gained relevant experience as the Strategic Marketing and Sales Director at AP Automotive Products srl from September 1999 to April 2001. Additionally, they worked at Carrier Corporation, where they held the positions of Export & Marketing Manager from September 1997 to August 1999 and participated in the Leadership Associate Program from May 1995 to August 1997, gaining exposure to sales and business development in different countries.

Gabriele Basile completed their undergraduate studies from 1984 to 1990 at Sapienza Università di Roma, where they obtained a degree in Nuclear Engineering. Gabriele'sfield of study during this time was Nuclear Power Plants Construction. Afterward, in 1993, they obtained an MBA from SDA Bocconi. Furthermore, in June 1993, they obtained the certification of Chartered Nuclear Engineer from the Engineering Association of Rome.
