Valerio Rossi

Valerio Rossi currently serves as the Head of Technology Transfer & International Innovation at Terna SpA since May 2019, where responsibilities include designing global innovation strategies and leading the development of Digital IoT and Analytics for Industrial IoT deployment. Prior to this role, Valerio held the position of Head of Northern Europe Research & Development Centers at ABB, overseeing multiple R&D centers and managing projects across several countries. Valerio's experience also includes serving as Executive Director of Renewable Plants Operation at SunEdison, where management of operations for a large fleet of renewable energy plants was a key focus. With a considerable tenure at GE Oil & Gas, Valerio was involved in monitoring and diagnostic engineering, having redesigned the global organization and implemented critical software solutions. Valerio holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Università dell'Aquila.
