Evelien Martens

Evelien has a strong analytical background and is experienced in the design, execution, and management of laboratory experiments, supplemented by modelling skills: she has 10 years of experience in reactive transport modeling in a variety of formats – from lab to field scale.

She is currently managing several research streams and is using her deep scientific expertise to advance geopolymer cement chemistry and analysis.

Evelien holds a Ph.D. in Earth Sciences from the University of Western Australia (2019) and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium (2007).
