Shambhavi Deshpande

Shambhavi Deshpande is the Head of Product Design at Terra.do. Shambhavi has also worked as a Senior Interaction Designer at MakeMyTrip.com, and as a UX Design Consultant at AstroGuru – Among India’s Top 100 Lifestyle Apps on Play Store (FbStart Backed).

Shambhavi has a wealth of experience in designing user experiences across various platforms. At Carnegie Mellon University, they were a teaching assistant for the 'Dexign Futures' course centered around sustainable development. Shambhavi also conducted research at the Imaginaries Lab and helped build the curriculum for a course centered on new ways to live sustainably.

At AstroGuru, they helped run experiments to drive monetization by designing and iterating on the user experience across features both old and new in the app. As a result of their efforts, the app saw a significant growth of 30% in revenue and an astounding 1000% expansion in the user base within a few months.

At their current position at Terra.do, they are responsible for leading the product design team and overseeing all design aspects of the product development process. Under their guidance, the team strives to create beautiful and intuitive products that make a positive impact on the lives of users.

Shambhavi Deshpande completed a Master of Professional Studies in Design for Interactions at Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Design in Design at the Indian Institute of Technology in Guwahati.

They work with Gunjan Sharma - Web Developer, Drashti Shah - Product Quality Manager, and Shilpa Chavda - Software Engineer. Shambhavi Deshpande reports to Mayank Jain, Co-founder, CTO.
