Michael Rono

Michael Rono's work experience includes roles at several companies. Michael started their career at KPMG LLP in 2001, where they worked as a Manager/Senior Associate until 2005. From 2006 to 2008, they worked at Bear Stearns & Co as an Associate Investment Banker. In 2008, they joined Solsil, Inc as the Vice President of Finance. Michael then moved to PDC Energy, Inc in 2009, where they worked as the Financial Reporting Manager until 2016. Currently, they are working at Terra Energy Partners LLC, holding the positions of Director of Financial Reporting from 2016 to 2019, and Assistant Controller from 2019 to present.

Michael Rono pursued their education in a chronological manner. From 1996 to 2000, they attended Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Accounting. Following this, in 2002, Michael obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the VBOA - Virginia Board of Accountancy. Later, from 2005 to 2007, they enrolled at the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management, earning a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) without a specified field of study.
