Alex Williams is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in the buy-out sector, currently serving as Managing Director at Terra Firma Capital Partners since 2016. Previously, Alex held the role of Managing Director at First Reserve Corporation from 2008 to 2015, focusing on investments in high-growth businesses within the energy and natural resources sectors. Prior experience includes a Directorship at 3i plc from 1999 to 2008, where Alex invested in companies across Europe. Alex holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Oxford, obtained from 1992 to 1996.
