Ahmed Farouk

Ahmed Farouk is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in electrical engineering and renewable energy. Currently serving as Projects Director at Terra One since March 2024, Ahmed has held multiple roles at Scatec ASA from October 2018 to September 2024, including Technical Business Development Manager and Projects Technical Manager for the MENWA Region. Prior experience includes positions at GILA as Development Electrical Power Engineer, and at Enercon GmbH as a Project Management Engineer focused on wind energy systems. Early career roles involved research at the Fraunhofer Institute and engineering positions at ELFAROUK for Contracting and Engineering Consultations, ARAB POTASH COMPANY, BHIT Electrical workshop, and MASBERO. Ahmed holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering from BTU Cottbus and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Technology from Banha University.
