Jeremy K. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2009 to 2020. Jeremy started their career as an Electrical Operator and Shutdown Reactor Operator for the USS Nevada, where they maintained and operated submarine electrical systems. In addition, they performed various collateral duties such as writing qualification exams and leading regular department and division training.
From 2013 to 2017, Jeremy served as the Electronics Team Leader for The Formula Buckeyes, a student FSAE team. Jeremy led a team in designing and building electronic and electrical systems for a formula style race car, ensuring the vehicle's electrical reliability during competitions and on-track testing.
In 2015, Jeremy joined The Ohio State University as a High Energy Physics Research Associate. Jeremy played a crucial role in developing unique data analysis and visualization tools for the high energy physics research group. Jeremy also worked on modifying the EPOCH plasma simulation code to model femtosecond laser damage.
In 2017, Jeremy joined Asymmetric Technologies, LLC as an Electronics Technician and Design Engineer. Jeremy worked in this role until 2020, contributing their expertise to various electronics projects.
More recently, Jeremy joined Terra Sound in 2020 as a Lead Software Engineer. Jeremy has since been promoted to the role of Senior Engineer, where they continue to contribute their skills to the company.
Jeremy K. completed their education in a chronological manner. From 2007 to 2008, they attended the Naval Nuclear Power School at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command (NNPTC), where they focused on studying Nuclear Engineering and Electrical Engineering. In 2008, they moved on to the Nuclear Power Training Unit, where they pursued an Advanced EM Nuclear Training degree, emphasizing Practical Nuclear Engineering and Operations. Lastly, from 2013 to 2017, Jeremy K. attended The Ohio State University, where they obtained a degree in Engineering Physics with a specialization in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
