Carlos Perea

Carlos Perea has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2006 when they were appointed CEO of MIOX Corp., a technology company focused on on-site generation of chemicals. Carlos then served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of MIOX Corp. in 2013. In the same year, they became a Special Advisor for Verge Fund, providing advice on M&A and capitalization activities. Carlos then joined the board of directors of InnovateABQ in 2015 and was appointed Director of Azuca in 2017. In the same year, they also became Chairman of YPO New Mexico and Chief Operations Officer of iAnthus Capital Management. In 2018, they were appointed Board Member of The Initiative and, in 2019, they were appointed Chief Executive Officer and CEO of Terra Vera, a technology company with an organic alternative to synthetic pesticides.

Carlos Perea attended Albuqueque Academy before continuing their education at The University of New Mexico, where they obtained a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1987. Carlos then went on to Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where they earned an MBA in 1991.
