David Watt is a registered professional archaeologist (RPA) and cultural heritage specialist with extensive experience in cultural resource management, heritage stewardship, and historical research throughout the United States and Mexico. Currently, they serve as a Senior Archaeologist at Terracon Consultants, Inc. in Macon, Georgia. David's research has been published in various journals, including Southeastern Archaeology and the International Journal of Historical Archaeology, and they have presented at numerous conferences across North America. They are proficient in federal and state regulations related to cultural resource management and hold multiple safety certifications. David previously held various roles, including positions at the National Park Service, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and other notable organizations.
