Bharat Thazhathu

Bharat Thazhathu has a diverse range of work experience. Bharat began their career at Aircraft Technical Service, Inc. in 2009 as a Design Assistant, where they conducted research and designed aircraft components. Bharat then worked at Monroe County as an Engineering Aide, assisting with the Facilities Assets Management program and Energy Costs Savings Program. In 2011, Bharat joined TE Connectivity as an Engineering Sales Representative, overseeing the design, testing, and sales of transmission system accessories. At Rochester Institute of Technology, they held various leadership roles, including Global Union President, Global Union Vice President, and Student Government Director of Clubs & Organizations. In 2012, Bharat joined Gleason Corporation, where they held positions such as Proposal Specialist & Project Manager, Pricing/Cost Project Leader, and Manager of Proposals & Pricing. Currently, they are working at TerraCycle as the Senior Director of Recycling Operations and Senior Director of North America Operations. Throughout their career, Bharat has demonstrated skills in project management, negotiations, process improvement, and team leadership.

Bharat Thazhathu completed their education in the field of Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Bharat attended the institution from 2007 to 2012, earning a B.S./M.Eng. degree.
