Forestry Partnerships Lead at Terraformation

Jason Preble has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Jason is currently working as the Forestry Partnerships Lead at Terraformation Inc. since March 2022. Prior to that, they were a Natural Resource Management Program Technician III at Army Natural Resources Program on O'ahu starting from January 2021. Jason also served as a Community Huki Leader at Malama Maunalua from December 2019 to March 2022. In addition, Jason worked as a Wildlife Biologist II at Tetra Tech from February 2019 to March 2022. Jason has also taught as a Lecturer in Biology at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in July and August 2021, and as an Adjunct Lecturer at Hawaii Tokai International College from July 2020 to June 2021. Furthermore, they gained experience as an Aviculture Intern at San Diego Zoo Global in 2016, an Animal Husbandry Tech at Occidental College from October 2011 to December 2013, and a Natural Resource Management Technician I at Army Natural Resources Program on O'ahu from July 2014 to January 2015 and from December 2012 to March 2013. Jason's work has primarily focused on conservation, restoration, and teaching in the field of biology.

Jason Preble attended Iolani School from 2004 to 2010, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Jason then enrolled at Occidental College from 2010 to 2014 and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biology, General. Jason furthered their education at Victoria University of Wellington from 2015 to 2016, obtaining a Master's degree in Conservation Biology. Finally, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Informatics (Biosphere Informatics) at Kyoto University from 2016 to 2022.
