Configuration Management Engineer at Terran Orbital

Mark Raftogianis has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Mark began their career in 1980 at Hughes Aircraft Company, where they held various positions and eventually became the Team Leader for Technical Publications and Training. During their time at Hughes Aircraft Company, they were responsible for scheduling, estimating budgets, and maintaining cost, schedule, and quality goals for projects.

In 1997, Mark joined Raytheon as a Program Engineer, where they worked on military and government programs. Mark'smost recent assignment was as the Operational Products Development Lead for the Joint Polar Satellite System Common Ground System. Mark oversaw the development and delivery of operational products, including scripts, programs, standard operating procedures, training, and display designs.

From 2018 to 2019, Mark worked as an Associate at SMA, Inc., where they provided technical writing assistance for Virgin Orbit. Mark'sresponsibilities included developing and editing test procedures, test plans, and software user manuals.

In 2019, Mark joined Resource Management Concepts, Inc. as a Senior Technical Writer. Mark held this position until 2022, where they worked on various technical writing projects.

Finally, in 2022, Mark joined Virgin Orbit as a Senior Configuration Management Engineer. Mark worked in this role until 2023, when they transitioned to their current position as a Configuration Management Engineer at Terran Orbital Corporation.

Mark Raftogianis has a strong educational background. Mark obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, where they studied from 1978 to 1982. Later, they pursued further education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering, studying from 1986 to 1988. Additionally, Mark earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Cal State Fullerton, College of Business and Economics, spanning from 2001 to 2004.

In addition to their academic achievements, Mark Raftogianis has acquired two notable certifications. In 1999, they became a Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) from SOLE-THE INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY OF LOGISTICS, INC. A/K/A SOL. Furthermore, in 2005, Mark obtained the Raytheon Six Sigma Specialist certification from Raytheon.
