Omar Tarif is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in propulsion systems and manufacturing processes. Currently serving as a Senior Systems Engineer for Propulsion Systems at Terran Orbital Corporation since May 2024, Omar previously worked as a Project Engineer at Phase Four, where contributions included leading the development of a multimode propulsion system and supporting various DoD/NSS customer programs. Omar's engineering background encompasses roles as a Manufacturing Engineer at Phase Four and RBC Bearings, where expertise in process optimization, quality assurance, and vendor management was demonstrated. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in NanoEngineering from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from UC Irvine, supplemented by research experience in nanowires for neural applications.
