Andrea DeKoning has a strong work experience that spans over many years. Andrea started their career at Nike Sports and Wellness Centers in 2007, where they worked as an Athletic Center Team Coordinator for about a year. In 2011, they joined Terranea Resort as a Spa Coordinator and later transitioned to the role of Spa Group Sales and Administrative Assistant. Andrea continued to grow within the company and served as a Sales and Marketing Coordinator, Experiential Marketing Manager, and Marketing Manager - Digital & Media. Andrea's most recent position at Terranea Resort is the Associate Director of Marketing, a role they have held since 2023.
Andrea DeKoning obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Studies, with a focus on Italian, from the University of Oregon. Andrea attended the university from 2006 to 2011. In terms of additional certifications, Andrea has obtained a Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA) from the American Hotel & Lodging Association in April 2021. Andrea also received certifications in Cvent Supplier Network, Navis Marketing Professional, and Advanced Google Analytics from Cvent, NAVIS, and the Google Digital Academy (Skillshop) respectively, with the most recent being obtained in February 2021.
