Michel Mayer, PMP

Michel Mayer, PMP, has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Michel currently works as a Product Innovation Manager at Fortra's Terranova Security, where they are involved in driving product innovation initiatives. Prior to this role, from 2020 to 2022, Michel worked as a Consultant and played a crucial role in digital transformation projects for various companies. Their responsibilities included business analysis, strategic planning, project management, UX/UI design, digital learning solutions, and more.

From 2015 to 2020, Michel held the position of VP digital operations and design lead at Concordia University / KnowledgeOne, where they oversaw digital operations and led design initiatives. Before that, they worked as a Multimedia Director and Project Director at IC Axon in 2014 and held the role of Consultant for digital, web, and UX/UI projects for various companies from 2012 to 2014.

Michel's earlier experiences include working as CEO, Product Director, and Technology & Innovation Partner at BLANK from 2005 to 2012. Michel also served as a Multimedia Director and Project Director at MedCases from 2000 to 2004. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Multimedia Specialist at the Canadian Space Agency from 1997 to 2000 and as a Multimedia Specialist UX/UI and Project Manager at Famic Technologies from 1995 to 1997.

Michel Mayer, PMP, has a diverse education history spanning several disciplines. In 1986, they graduated from Collège de Maisonneuve with a degree in pure sciences. Michel then pursued a diploma in architecture at Cegep du Vieux Montreal from 1988 to 1991. Following this, Michel studied design at UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal from 1991 to 1993.

In 1995, Michel obtained a certificate in multimedia from Collège de Maisonneuve. Michel further honed their skills in interactive project management from Multimedia Academy in 1999.

In 2000, Michel participated in performance management training within their company. In 2005, they acquired a business management certificate from SAJE.

Michel holds a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in 2012-2013. In addition, they completed a course in agile project management at Technologia-Formation in 2018.

Beyond their formal education, Michel also obtained certifications such as Google Analytics Qualified Individual (IQ) from Google Inc. in 2013 and a Certificate of Membership from The Interaction Design Foundation in 2017.
