Aaron James Reynolds

Aaron James Reynolds is a Senior Engineer in Nuclear Methods at TerraPower LLC since January 2023, following a substantial career at Oregon State University as a Postdoctoral Scholar and Graduate Research Fellow focused on advanced reactor concepts and reactor physics modeling. Reynolds has extensive research experience, including work at Oak Ridge National Laboratory as an NESLS Intern, where contributions involved control rod depletion development and accident-tolerant fuels. Additional roles included significant undergraduate and intern positions that encompassed infrared imaging, vibration instrumentation, and advancements in nanoscale optics. Reynolds holds a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from Oregon State University and a B.S. with Highest Distinction in Electrical Engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman.
