Andrew Owens, PE, is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the design and analysis of pressure vessels and heat exchangers. Currently serving as a Senior Core Mechanical Structural Analyst at TerraPower since October 2023, Andrew's previous roles include Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Tesla, Lead Mechanical Engineer at Koch Heat Transfer, and Engineering Manager at Gibson Products Inc. Experience spans various companies such as Worldwide Oilfield Machine and FMC Technologies, focusing on compliance with ASME and API standards while employing advanced design methodologies and software tools. Andrew holds a B.S. in Marine Systems Engineering from Texas A&M University Galveston Campus and a B.S. in Construction Management Technology from the University of Houston.
