Anthony Palumbo

Anthony Palumbo is a Mechanical System Design Engineer at TerraPower since November 2023, bringing extensive experience in mechanical engineering. Previously, Palumbo served as Mechanical Engineer III at SHINE Medical Technologies, Inc. from August 2017 to August 2023, following a role as a Mechanical Engineering Intern. Early experience includes serving as Structural Design Lead at Badgerloop, where implementation of aircraft-style structural design was a key focus. Palumbo also held positions as a Structural Mechanic for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and Sikorsky, where responsibilities included inspection, repair, and maintenance of helicopter structures. Military service included a role as Aviation Structural/Hydraulic Mechanic in the US Navy, supporting key operations overseas. Palumbo earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
