Cody Falconer

Cody Falconer is a Senior Testing Engineer at TerraPower LLC, where responsibilities include designing, constructing, and operating experiments for molten chloride salts since August 2022. Previously, Cody held the position of NRC Research Fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from September 2017 to July 2022, after completing a doctoral degree in Materials Science and Engineering. Experience also includes a Materials Engineering Internship at TerraPower LLC in 2021, focusing on spectroelectrochemistry experiments and structural alloy analysis, and an Undergraduate Research Assistant role at the University of Nevada, Reno. Additional experiences encompass summer research internships at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and the National Nuclear Security Administration, as well as serving as a Quality Rater at Quality Engineering Solutions, Inc. Cody holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Nevada, Reno.
