Daniel Walter is an accomplished nuclear engineer with extensive experience in advanced reactor design and engineering. Currently serving as Director of MCRE Project Delivery at TerraPower since November 2016, Daniel has held various roles including Project Manager and Project Engineer for the Molten Chloride Reactor Experiment (MCRE) and the Molten Chloride Fast Reactor (MCFR) technology development program. Prior to joining TerraPower, Daniel contributed to nuclear engineering research at the University of Michigan and gained hands-on experience at prominent national laboratories such as Los Alamos, Oak Ridge, and Idaho National Laboratory. Daniel holds a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences and multiple degrees in Nuclear and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and Penn State University.
