Eric Kang

Eric Kang is a Commercial Development Manager at TerraPower, responsible for advancing innovative nuclear energy solutions. Previously, Eric held the role of Commercial Acquisitions Manager at Puget Sound Energy, where successful negotiations secured a $16 million settlement for ratepayers following the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act. Eric also contributed to the development of a qualitative evaluation process for a significant RFP and played a key role in negotiating major power purchase agreements. With a diverse background, Eric’s experience includes positions at NRG Energy, Submarine Group Seven in the US Navy, and the USS Nevada. Eric holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and has additional master's degrees in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University and in business from Esade.
