Stefan Bjornsson

Stefan Bjornsson is a System Design Engineer at TerraPower since July 2023, with a solid background in engineering and research. Prior to this role, Stefan served as a Process Engineer at Jansen Combustion and Boiler Tech from September 2014 to July 2023, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Washington between 2013 and August 2014. Stefan began the professional journey as an intern at Enertechnix in 2013 and worked as an Engineer at Landsvirkjun from June 2008 to September 2012. Stefan holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Mechanical Engineering from Háskóli Íslands, completed between 2008 and 2011, and furthered education at the University of Washington from 2012 to 2014.
