Joseph Wheeler

Joseph Wheeler, CSM, serves as the Corporate Environmental, Health and Safety Manager at TerrAscend since August 2023, recognized as an authority in the cannabis sector for developing innovative safety frameworks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Previously, Joseph held the position of President of Security Operations at HeroMore Security and was the Health, Safety, and Security Manager at PA Options for Wellness. As the Director of Security for the Lebanon County Correctional Facility, Joseph led a team of over 100 officers, overseeing daily operations. Joseph's extensive experience includes serving as a Federal Police Officer with the Defense Logistics Agency, where responsibilities included training new officers, and as an International Military Police with NATO, collaborating with the Belgian Federal Police. Joseph's military background includes service in the United States Air Force as Security Forces/Military Police. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety from Columbia Southern University and additional education from the Community College of the Air Force.
