Edward Williams has a long and varied work experience. Edward began their career in 2014 as a Co-Founder/Backend Developer for Vivaldi and a Rhode Island Space Grant Fellow for Brown University. In 2015, they interned at the Space Telescope Science Institute, where they created data mining software to look for correlations between molecular emission lines in Herschel Space Telescope data. In 2016, they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Humans to Robots Lab and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Raphael Lab at Brown University. In 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer - Machine Learning and Computational Chemistry at Qulab Inc. and a Staff Researcher - Robotics and Adaptation at Brown University. In 2020, they worked as a Senior Associate at Amgen. Finally, in 2022, they began working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Terray Therapeutics.
Edward Williams began their education in 2009, graduating from North Central High School with an International Baccalaureate and North Central Honors. From 2011 to 2013, they attended Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, studying Mathematics. In 2012, they attended Harvard University, studying Astrobiology. Finally, from 2013 to 2017, they attended Brown University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
