Oliver Medvedik is an accomplished professional in the fields of bioengineering and molecular biology, currently serving as the Director of the Maurice Kanbar Center for Biomedical Engineering at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art since September 2013. In addition to overseeing bioengineering research projects and STEM education, Oliver Medvedik co-founded several organizations, including Lifespan.io and Genspace NYC, where contributions include leadership and scientific direction. Other notable roles include Scientist-in-Residence at the School of Visual Arts, a TED Fellow, and a former adjunct professor at New York University, where innovative courses on biosemiotics were developed.
