Jason Estep

Jason Estep is a Senior Scientist at Terremoto Biosciences since January 2025, with prior experience as a Scientist at Arc Institute from March 2023 to January 2025, where expertise in synthetic biology and functional genomics was utilized to advance viral vector design and transgene expression. Jason's academic background includes a PhD in Cell, Molecular, and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Riverside, awarded in October 2022, where research focused on neuronal migration and actin remodeling under Dr. Martin Riccomagno. Prior roles include a Graduate Teaching Assistant at UC Riverside, a Laboratory Assistant II in the lab of Dr. Fedor V Karginov, and a Neurobiology Research Intern at UC Davis under Dr. Qizhi Gong.
