Regina Choy

Regina Choy has an extensive work experience in the field of biosciences. Regina currently holds the role of Director at Terremoto Biosciences, where they started in January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Associate Director at the same company from January 2022 to January 2023.

Before joining Terremoto Biosciences, Regina worked at Loxo Oncology at Lilly as a Senior Principal Scientist from July 2020 to December 2021. Regina also worked at AbbVie as a Senior Scientist II from September 2018 to July 2020.

Regina'scareer began at Genentech, where they served as a Senior Scientific Researcher from March 2013 to September 2015. Regina then worked as a Research Scientist II and Research Scientist I at Gilead Sciences from February 2017 to September 2018, and from September 2015 to January 2017, respectively.

Regina started their professional journey as a Postdoctoral Researcher at UCSF, working from March 2012 to March 2013. Regina completed their Doctoral Thesis Research at UC Berkeley, under the guidance of Dr. Randy Schekman, a 2013 Nobel Laureate, from August 2005 to March 2012.

Regina Choy obtained their Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, between the years 2005 to 2011.
