Colin Gibb

Colin Gibb is an experienced electrical engineering professional with a background in the nuclear industry. Currently serving as the Instrumentation Control and Electrical Manager at Terrestrial Energy since October 2018, Colin leads the design of the IMSR instrumentation, control, and electrical systems. Prior to this role, Colin worked as an Electrical Engineer at Candu Energy Inc. from October 2011 to October 2017, where responsibilities included executing the design and procurement of a backup diesel generator system and reviewing vendor documents for compliance with project standards. Colin's earlier experience at AECL from June 1997 to September 2011 involved performing ETAP analysis on electrical distribution systems and conducting safety walkdowns of nuclear facilities. Colin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Queen's University, obtained in 1997.
