Norm Couturier has a long and varied work history. Norm began their career in 1988 at Evention Technologies, where they served as Co-Founder, Partner, and CIO. Norm was responsible for leading an acquisition of an Ontario-based financial e-learning company and developing EDC, a SaaS-based regulatory compliance and e-Learning software product. In 1990, they took a position as an IT Consultant at Price-Waterhouse Coopers, where they co-led the design and development of the financial budgeting system for the New South Wales government. In 2008, they co-founded Accreon Inc., an I.T. solutions and services company. In 2011, they co-founded iTacit Inc., a cloud-based platform that helps businesses train, connect and develop their disconnected workforces. In 2017, they became the CEO of 10Speak Innovation, an executive consulting firm. In 2018, they took on two roles: Chief Executive Officer of Terris, a cloud-based AI platform, and Lead Guitar/Vocals for the Overwound Blues Band.

Norm Couturier graduated with a Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) degree from Acadia University in 1986, having studied Computer Science from 1983 to 1986.
